A Win for the Seniors

Age only matters if it matters to you.

The picture above is of Stump, a Sussex Spaniel who won this week's Westminster Dog Show and became the oldest Best in Show winner in dog show history.

At 1o, he is not only the oldest dog ever to win Westminster, he also overcame a near fatal illness that temporarily knocked him out of "show business."

This turn of events reminds me of the wisdom that says the surest way to become an old dog is to stop learning new tricks.

Churches which stop finding ways to reach people for the Kingdom of God will find that old age can be lonely.
